Bon Voyage – Josie

Tonight, I have some white fur remnants on my pants, and 3 paw prints firmly planted on my heart. Josie and her family are heading off on a new adventure; we said our good-byes.

There are so many amazing parts to fostering, but one of the best is to be recognized by a former foster – especially one so dear as sweet Josie.

We helped each other through so much.

Even better is to watch my girl follow her new mom, and not look back.
