Welcome Little Bea

Here’s how it starts – some photos and a request for help ‘This sweet girl is about 2-3 years old. She is so so sweet. She is ready to pop. She is so nice. She is 27 lbs filled with pups.’

My heart melts and I wonder how this sweet girl is going to deliver all of those puppies in the shelter. Then I realize that she’s not. She’s coming to us.

Transport is arranged, we drive to meet the van, she’s safely in our car, we drive home. When the life-saving systems are all in place, things can move quickly.

24 hours later…11 puppies!

She’s thin and still getting used to us and thin. But the pups are healthy and nursing well.
